Chris Brown revealed the artists he' ll be collaborating with on his new album via Twitter on July 4.

The 24-year-old enlisted Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar, Kelly Rowland, Wiz Khalifa, B.O.B and Rihanna for his sixth studio album. He also teased that there will be "more surprises to come."

Brown premiered his duet with Minaj, titled Love More, at the 2013 BET Awards on June 30. He also told Rolling Stone in March that his collaboration with Lamar is titled Autumn Leaves.

The Rihanna collaboration, however, may come as a surprise. The singer reportedly wanted the track removed from the upcoming album, following the couple's recent breakup. A source reportedly revealed the news about their song Put It Up to Hollywood Life in June.

"Record execs wanted that song on there, but Chris said he would rather not and wouldn't allow the record to be released unless they took it off. They're still hoping to convince Chris or pay him more to change his mind because it would be a hit. The record hasn't been pressed yet, so things can change, but at this point he's not changing his mind," the source said.

X will be the follow-up to his 2012 album Fortune. Brown's fifth studio album became his second to go No. 1 on Billboard. It sold 134,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. His first No. 1 was achieved the prior year when he released F.A.M.E.. That album sold 270,000 in its first week.

When Brown discussed the upcoming record with Rolling Stone, he said that deals with a lot on "personal" topics.

"This album has a lot of substance, from the subject matter and the situations to how it deals with love. It's really derived from personal experiences. Then again, I always like mixing reality with art," he said.

X will be released on July 16.
