Teenage Broadway star Laurel Griggs is gone too soon.

According to reports, the 13-year-old actress died on Nov. 5 from a massive asthma attack.

Griggs reportedly called out to her father in their Manhattan, NY, apartment while doing her apartment. She said she did not feel right.

The call alarmed her father, Andy Griggs, who admitted that her daughter "would never normally say something like that."

Laurel Griggs was born with asthma condition and was given medication since then. According to her dad, she suffered the same attack just three years ago.

After that incident, her parents would monitor her closely. Last Tuesday, it was reported that her breathing became intense that they decided to have their daughter get urgent help.

Some cops performed CPR in the police vehicle while they were rushing Laurel to the Mt. Sinai Hospital.

Unfortunately, she died a few hours after.

Grigg's grandfather, David Rivlin, announced on Facebook on November 9 about the tragedy.

"The world lost a real princess who wanted to make the future happiness for all.The acting was just a childhood dream come true, and she had big plans for the future, Rivlin wrote on FB.

Laurel's grandfather also thanked all who sent their condolences and replied to them, saying, "Though my heart is broken forever with the tragic loss of my granddaughter, Laurel, I want to thank all of you for your kind words that have meant so much as I grieve for her loss. I am eternally grateful to all of you."

Laurel Griggs is one of the younger Broadway stars who paved her way since she was only six years old. She even joined the crew of the star-studded "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" with Scarlett Johansson.

Laurel also played well as Ivanka in "Once" between 2013 and 2015. Along with Steve Carell, Kristen Stewart and others, she appeared in the 2016 romantic comedy, "Café Society."

She appeared in other hundreds of Broadway performances. Laurely also featured in 'Saturday Night Live' in 2017.

Co-Broadway actress, Eliza Holland Madore, from "Café Society" took to her Instagram to express her disbelief about the tragedy. She called Laurely as someone who "always made other people laugh."

Another co-star, Lucas Papaelias, also took it to his Instagram to offer his condolences to the family.

The Young Broadway Twitter account has also shared a tribute for Laurel.

It was reported that Grigg's school, Clinton School in the Chelsea neighbourhood, was closed for half an hour in her honor.

Additionally, Broadway has also dimmed its lights on Friday as a tribute to the young actress.

Laurel's parents put up an online memorial for their daughter.
