Britney Spears spent the Fourth of July with her boyfriend David Lucado.

The pop star held hands with her southern beau as they did some grocery shopping at a local Wal-Mart store in Fillmore, Calif. on Thursday. See photos here.

The 31-year-old singer kept it casual in a white jumpsuit as her boyfriend wore a red cap and a Virginia Tech shirt. Her boyfriend, who works at a law firm, also gave money to homeless people lingering around the store, according to JustJared.com. On the same day the Ooh La La singer tweeted, "Happy 4th of July! Hope all of u here in the US of A with me are having a lovely holiday. xo."

Spears and her new man were first spotted together when they had a romantic Valentine's Dinner in February, according to Life & Style.

"Everyone knows Britney falls in love very fast, and it is no different with David," a source reportedly told the publication two months later in April. "She has already told him 'I love you' and calls him 'Babe.'"

According to the article, Spears also brings her new beau everywhere and he stays over her California mansion frequently.

Spears began dating Lucado shortly after she broke off her engagement with her former agent Jason Trawick in January. She started dating Trawick in 2009 and he proposed in 2011.

"As two mature adults, they came to the difficult decision to go their separate ways while continuing to remain friends," Spears' publicist Jeff Raymond said in a statement regarding to the split.

In her own statement, Spears said she'll "always adore him" and that the two will "remain great friends."

Trawick also had a few words about the split: "As this chapter ends for us a new one begins. I love and cherish her and her boys and we will be close forever."
