Newly-engaged Princess Beatrice of York should be busy preparing for her wedding in 2020. However, new reports revealed she had to pull some strings for her father Prince Andrew.

According to recent revelations, Princess Bea was on-set of the BBC News Night interview with the Duke. She reportedly was instrumental in helping set up the interview for her father.

The Duke's eldest daughter was reportedly doubtful about the entire thing and did not want it to push through. It was previously revealed that her mother, Sarah Ferguson, was initially the motivation behind Princess Andrew's interview.

However, with Ferguson abroad during the interview, it left her daughter Bea to sit it out with the Duke for the controversial one-on-one.

Ferguson already went on nationwide coverage to show how much she regretted her association with the convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. She also showed remorse for owing Epstein money, saying she should not have taken on the offer.

The Duke of York's ex-wife may have had the perception that Prince Andrew will come out clean and show regret as well. However, he drew flak instead, as he did not regret his friendship with Epstein. He also described sex as a "positive act" but would go on to deny having sex with the minor girls trafficked by the billionaire.

Prince Andrew Dragged Bea Into the Scandal

As soon as the interview started rolling, it was soon apparent that Prince Andrew would not admit to guilt. It was clear that his sole motive was to clear his name.

Princess Beatrice watched in horror as her father used her as an alibi amid evidence thrown at him during the interview. BBC's Emily Maitlis brought to his attention a photo evidence revealed by his accuser in a legal court document released in November.

Prince Andrew denied the first allegation that he was at Tramp nightclub with a then-17-year-old Virginia Roberts. He said he was having a memorable father-and-daughter bonding with Princess Bea at the time at Pizza Express in Woking.

Party Prince Photos Leaked (Bea in It!)

Princess Beatrice's photos at a party with her dad were also leaked following the interview. The Duke had denied his monicker "party prince," saying that he has "never really partied" and was not the type of royal to pack on public display of affection.

However, in the many photos that leaked, Prince Andrew was seen frolicking with socialites and young ladies in Saint Tropez.

In one of the photos, Princess Bea was seen joining her dad at the party.

Bea Regrets Helping Dad

Princess Bea was reportedly asking a lot of questions prior to the interview, as she had doubts it was what her father needed.

Against her judgment, Bea was forced to support her father and mother's decision to do the interview. She was also said to be talked into it by the Duke's private secretary Amanda Thirsk and the BBC News Night team that the interview was "the only way to put the rumors behind them."

Bea reportedly nurses bitter regrets over helping her father and showing support that day. Sarah and Andrew have relied on their daughter's judgment when dealing with the public, but Bea could not stop her parents and their stubborn request.

The engaged princess has reportedly been looking somber and in tears ever since. She was last spotted at her fiancé Edo Mapelli Mozzi's birthday celebration sporting a makeup-free tearful face the entire time.
