Kardashians Save Face? Kris Jenner Makes Amends For Insensitive Food Fight
Moms teach their children not to play with their food, but not the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch. Kris Jenner started a food fight at her daughter, Khloe's house.
Bowlfuls of food wasted at the family lunch did not sit well with KUWTK viewers who criticized them. Now, Kris spearheads a Thanksgiving party at a local food bank in L.A.
Kris said she is incredibly grateful for the blessings she and her family have received, so much so that she wants to give back. The food bank staff thanked them for their genuine help in providing food for over 100 families and volunteering to hand out the food personally.
Kris, Corey, Kim & Kourt Volunteer At Food Bank
The family matriarch tapped Stacey Ruiz Events and Little Artist Party for the Thanksgiving event. They had the place decorated with balloons and had treats for the little ones.
Kris' boyfriend Corey Gamble was also at the event giving away plant-based meat from Beyond Meat.
Kim Kardashian-West, who was also present at the food fight video that went viral, made sure to attend the event as well. Kourtney Kardashian, who emptied an entire pitcher of juice on the table, also came to help out at the local food bank.
Kim and Kourtney were conservatively dressed. Kourt donned a black long sleeve top, while Kim wore a white sleeveless top sans cleavage.
Kim previously shared that her decision to dress less provocatively came by her husband Kanye West's insight on dressing sexy as overkill.
On Saturday, we held an event at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to celebrate this special week and to hand out food for Thanksgiving meals. As we head into the holiday season, it's a reminder to be thankful for all of our blessings and I'm so grateful. It's important to me and my family to give back. Everyone can get involved by checking out your local food banks and lending support! A special thank you to @lafoodbank for having us and to those who participated @thekrimgroup @staceyruizevents @beyondmeat @little_artist_party @prismdjs #WeFeedLA

Kardashians Spread Awareness
The chief development officer at the L.A. food bank, Roger Castle, revealed how important it was for them to have received the famous celebrities.
Castle said that the Kardashian-Jenners helped them "raise valuable awareness of our mission to end hunger in the Los Angeles County.
Mother-of-four Kim also revealed that instilling charitable values to her children have become increasingly important to her.
Kardashian-West said she teaches her kids to be sympathetic and empathetic of what other families are going through. She also emphasizes to her kids that they are truly blessed.
End of the KUTWK Food Fights?
This was not the first time the stars of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" engaged in a food fight. Kourt and Khloe previously threw guacamole all over Kris' dinner table.
The Kardashian sisters also had a food fight at Kylie Jenner's housewarming. At the time, they got yelled on by their mom to stop the food fight.
Kim and Khloe once slammed a cake on their mom's head and threw a second big cake on the floor with the words "Sweet Revenge."
Timing was crucial this time around, as Thanksgiving draws nearer. However, Kris emphasized that the only reason why she instigated the food fight was to teach Khloe a lesson on how to deal with OCD.
Khloe had been visiting a therapist to help her with her obsessive compulsive disorder. She was saying how proud she was of her progress. Kris, however, decided to test her daughter by messing up her house with food all over the place.
KUWTK viewers criticized the family for wasting food while people are starving and lack adequate food. Critics said they should be ashamed of themselves for not being good role models by throwing food.
It would seem after receiving heavy criticisms, the KUWTK stars would be more appreciative and to that end stop with all the food fights once and for all.
