Kate Middleton Will Never Take Queen Elizabeth II's Place -- Here's Why!
Kate Middleton's supporters found it heartbreaking to think that no matter how much time the Duchess of Cambridge dedicates to train herself to act like a royal, she will never be Queen.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be the ones to be at an advantage once Prince Charles takes over Queen Elizabeth II's position as the monarch.
When that time comes, Prince William will finally be the heir to the throne, followed by their royal children Prince George (eldest child of the Duke of Cambridge), Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
As the Duke of Cambridge gets nearer to the throne, Kate will also take a step forward at the same time. However, it will not make her a monarch in any way.
Moreover, Prince William is the one entitled to the throne, and he will have the same privileges as what Queen Elizabeth II has now and what Prince Charles will receive soon.
The reason behind the future role of Kate is the fact that the British Royal Family has its list of succession.
Instead of being a queen, she will be Queen Consort once Prince William receives the throne to be the King of England. People will address her as Queen Kate or Queen Catherine, but she will simply be a queen by name since she married the ruling monarch.
Her current situation is like the fate of the late Princess Diana and Camila, Duchess of Cornwall. The two never became the direct descendant of Queen Elizabeth II, as Prince Charles (the current heir to the throne) will be the one to rule the monarchy, which people expect to take effect in 2021.
Undergoing Trainings "To Fit In"
In the book of royal biographer Katie Nicholl entitled "Kate: The Future Queen", she narrated how it felt bizarre to have Kate watch videos and footages of the late Princess Diana.
Nicholl added that it became the palace's way to teach her how to deal with those notorious paparazzi that always taunt their "victims" just to get an answer.
"She was polite, but she never posed for the cameras, having been told by courtiers not to engage with the media," Nicholl described Kate.
Middleton received her first training when she attended the Horse Trials event without Prince William.
The press reportedly surrounded her at Gatcombe Park trying to take pictures of her. Kate confidently made up her mind and protected herself at that time so she can shield herself well in the future, too.
Kate Not To Be a Queen, But A "Queen Mother"
According to the owner of the blog "Royal Musings" Marlene Koenig, Kate's title could become the Queen Mother once her eldest child, Prince George, becomes the monarch.
"When [Prince] George is King (if Catherine is still alive), she can choose to be styled as Her Majesty Queen Catherine, the Queen Mother," Koenig stated.
