Youtube star Brittani Boren Leach is a picture of a devastated mother on Christmas Day.

After taking a nap on Christmas Day, Brittanie found Crew, her three-month-old son, unresponsive. In several Instagram posts, Leach shared details of the tragedy. She began sharing posts about what happened on Thursday.

The first post was an image of her holding baby Crew's hand. It came with a heartfelt caption detailing what had just occurred.

Leach began with how indescribable her feelings were at that time. She was asking everyone to say a little prayer for her. The Youtuber then described the kind of prayer she needed -- the kind where people would go down on their knees and beg God for a miracle to happen.

Death in His Sleep

While Leach was with her entire family at a relative's house, her son, Crew, went down for a nap. When she came to check on him after a few minutes, he was no longer breathing.

"We are living in a nightmare," Leach said. It was like she was dying inside because she could not take what had just happened. She asked everyone to pray for her baby. The internet star could not even believe if any of it was real.

The next post was a photo of Leach sitting beside Crew in the hospital. The young mother was in tears. In the caption, she wrote that her son was in a more stable condition. She also shared that the ventilator was helping him breathe.

Furthermore, Leach revealed that the doctors are working on stabilizing his body. The next step would be to have him undergo an MRI to check on his brain function. Every other step to be taken would depend on the result of the MRI.

The details of the post reveal so much about how the young mother is feeling at that time. She wrote about wanting to crawl in bed to nurse her baby. Leach even wrote about how there is a breast pump in her bra instead of her baby latched to her.

She begged everyone to continue praying for her and her baby. To end the post, Leach wrote about how impossible it would be for her to go on with her life if her baby Crew was gone.

Tragic Death

Unfortunately, no amount of medical care was able to save baby Crew. On Friday, Leach announced the tragic death of her son.

In the photo that she shared on that day, Leach was cradling her baby in her arms while her husband, Jeff, was beside them. Although her son was still alive at that time, Leach wrote that "he is already dancing and playing in heaven."

Hard decisions needed to be made. These are the times when no parent would ever want to make a choice. The Youtube star then asked everyone for prayers of clarity. She said that their hearts could only take on so much, that is why they are asking for prayers for them to find peace despite everything.

And although the outpouring of love and support for the couple and their family is overwhelming, they still could not comprehend why such a tragic event could happen in their lives. In the following two posts on Instagram, Leach shared the details of how her son was gone too soon.

She added that the doctors are processing his body to take on organs that could be up for donation.

At this difficult time, no mother or any parent would want to find themselves in the situation. And yet, Leach and her husband are trying to see the good in what happened. Although she knows that God may have a better plan for them, the Youtube star could not help but express how deeply sad she feels.

Leach continued to vent out her emotions through her social media posts.

Crew will be undergoing surgery on Sunday to harvest his organs that could potentially save three to four babies. In the end, Leach simply asked everyone for their prayers as they face the hardest decision of their lives.

Leach continued to make posts about Crew on her Instagram page. This time, it is a throwback of all the best memories they have of him.
