Tensions reportedly ran high on July 6 when reality star Brandi Glanville found herself dining at the same restaurant as her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian and his wife LeAnn Rimes.

The Housewives of Beverly Hills star took the divorced couple's two sons, Mason and Jake, out for dinner at Nobu in Malibu at the same time that Rimes and Cibrian decided to dine at the restaurant. Upon seeing the couple, Glanville causing a scene and made things awkward as she "crashed" Cibrian and Rimes date night, Radar Online claimed.

Fellow diners told the website "you could have cut the tension with a knife" as the ex-couple's children flitted between the two tables. One of the site's sources claimed that Glanville yelled at Cibrian "Is that a hi or a bye," as he and Rimes passed her table to on their way out of the restaurant.

"It was so obnoxious that other people at the restaurant turned their heads to see what all the commotion was about," another onlooker reportedly said, referencing Glanville's behavior. "[She] appeared to cause quite the scene."

Rimes told her Twitter followers her plans for the night prior to her outing with Cibrian. She tweeted earlier in the evening, "Looking forward to my favorite sushi spot and a beautiful beach sunset." After leaving the restaurant she tweeted about the "romantic night" with her couple friends.

After leaving the restaurant Glanville tweeted, "Just left Nobu Malibu with boys and friends, ran into boys dad.The kids love us all together so lets just stop all th BS." The reality star also insisted that contrary to reports, no drama told place at Nobu.

"I was having dinner with 7 friends wen EC came in with a group we said hello I didn't crash any1s date&was nothing but polite," she tweeted.

Her friend Darin Harvey stood up for Glanville, saying she caused no scene: "BS!! I was there all was friendly its LA people go to the same trendy restaurants. get the facts straight."
