Man of Steel proved to be a hit in theaters and talks of a sequel has prompted fan's to wonder if a prequel may be possible.

Director Zack Snyder took viewers back to Krypton in his latest film. However, Snyder recreated Superman's home world and culture, leaving plenty to be explored if someone were to pen a prequel script.

Russell Crowe portrayed Kal-El's father Jor-El in the recent film and seems to be getting a lot of tweets regarding a possible repeat performance.

Crowe seems to be receptive to the possibility and has encouraged fans to advocate for the film.

"A lot of you are asking about a KRYPTON prequel, if that's something you feel strongly about let @Legendary pictures know your thoughts," Crowe told his followers.

When filmmakers were looking for a reason behind Superman's suit, it was decided that it would be the clothing of his home planet. Therefore an entire race wound up clad in the spandex style outfits of our superheroes, including Crowe.

The 49-year-old actor is willing to hope back into the outfit if it means another go at being Jor-El.

"If it came up, I'd give the tights another go," Crowe tweeted.

Now fans will have to wait and see if a prequel materializes.
