Amanda Bynes Court Appearance with Blue Wig for Reckless Endangerment Charges, VIDEO & PHOTO
Amanda Bynes appeared in a New York City court early Tuesday morning on allegations that she tossed a marijuana bong from the window of her Manhattan apartment.
The 27-year-old actress, who entered the courtroom in a long blue wig, is charged with reckless endangerment, marijuana possession and attempted tampering with physical evidence in connection to an incident that took place in May. She did not speak during a brief court appearance Tuesday and the judge postponed the hearing until Aug. 26, TMZ reported.

Bynes was arrested in May after building officials from her Manhattan apartment called police complaining that the former actress was smoking marijuana in the lobby. Officers went to her apartment and said they saw a bong sitting on the kitchen counter, according to Fox News. Prosecutors claimed she tossed the bong out the window in front of the officers.
Bynes denied the bong-tossing incident and instead accused the arresting cop of slapping her private when she was taken into custody. She wrote on Twitter that two officers groped her and that one "slapped my vagina." The NYPD investigated her allegations but found no evidence to support her claim, according to the news report.
Bynes has been vocal about her personal life on Twitter but made no mention of the court appearance on Tuesday. Continuing her rant of who she deems "ugly," she tweeted Monday, "Barack Obama and Michelle Obama are ugly!"
