Ariana Grande is set to release her debut album Daydreamin this summer, and her manager Scooter Braun revealed a little bit of what fans can expect.

"Her album is a throwback to the great R&B of the '90s," he told MTV in an interview published on July 9. "And she has some incredible ballads on there."

The 20-year-old's manager also said that while the album will be released in August, another record will follow in February or March.

"She's recording so much music that we feel like we can keep the momentum going," he said. "I'm so incredibly excited about the album and the music. This girl would live in the studio if she had the opportunity."

Grande released the album's lead single The Way featuring Mac Miller in March. The song's video has garnered almost 60 million views on YouTube. The track also earned Grande a comparison to Mariah Carey.

"She's an inspiration. She's the greatest female vocalist, so it was definitely a compliment," Grande told Digital Spy in April. "Mariah and Whitney Houston were my goddesses growing up."

She also explained her surprise over the single's success.

"I didn't expect any of this, and I didn't expect it to debut at No. 10 on the Billboard chart either. It was craziness to me," she added.

The song also earned her and Mac Miller a 2013 Teen Choice Award nomination. The award show premieres on Sunday, August 11.

"Me and Ariana nominated for a teen choice award. That's swag," Mac Miller wrote on his Twitter on Tuesday.

Grande also took to Twitter to thank her fans for the nomination.

"I see you guys have been voting, thank you!!" she tweeted.

Aside from her music, Grande is also now a part of the new Nickelodeon series Sam & Cat. The spin-off show for her Victorious character Cat Valentine premiered in June.
