After six years, Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out is returning to television.

Cannon, who is the show's producer and host, is bringing the improv comedy show to MTV's sister network MTV2.

"People have been in talks about it for a long time, and I just had to really buckle down and say, 'Ok, I'm going to take the time out to actually do it," he told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview.

The show, which debuted in 2005, will be the same way fans remember it. It will feature two teams, one led by Cannon and the other by the show's special guest. Both teams will compete in various games including the memorable freestyle rap battles.

Cannon also told The Hollywood Reporter that his intention with Wild 'N Out is to make viewers want to be in the audience and experience the party vibe. He added that he feels his goal was accomplished with season 5.

Confirmed appearances on the upcoming season include Lil DuVal (who currently stars on MTV's Guy Code), basketball player Amar'e Stoudemire as well as rappers Mac Miller, 2Chainz, Machine Gun Kelly, A$AP Rocky and Joe Budden.

Cannon's Real Husbands of Hollywood co-star and comedian Kevin Hart will also appear on the season's first episode. Hart made appearances in the past seasons.

"We just favor each other to death," Cannon told Access Hollywood about Hart. "But it's kind of cool to see somebody that you came up in the game with be so successful, and you guys can share success together. It's really cool."

Other stars that Cannon wanted to appear on the show include rappers Eminem, Kanye West and Jay-Z. While West and Eminem won't have cameos this season, Jay-Z's appearance was neither confirmed or denied.

The show premieres on Tuesday night on MTV2 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT.
