Kanye West took to Twitter on Tuesday to express his anger over what he confirmed was the leak of an unfinished version of the music video for Black Skinhead, the first promoted single off his new album Yeezus.

West's hurled an expletive at the unknown leaker of the video during the Twitter rant, before revealing the finished version will be released next week. The video, which features an animated, but very life-like, version of West performing shirtless, has already sent blogs and social media sites into a frenzy. The visuals for the video are just as boundary-pushing as West's new genre-bending album. The video features a silhouette of barking dogs masked by darkness, liquid metal attire and state-of-the-art live animation.

Even in 140 characters, West's frustration could be felt, regarding the leak of his music video.

"Me and Nick Knight have been working on this video for 5 months and for creatives it's heartbreaking when something like this happens," West tweeted.

The Chicago native has gained a reputation for the effort he pours into his music videos and tours. He told the New York Times in an interview in June that he wanted to forge a legacy as an innovator, in the way Apple's creator Steve Jobs did. Like the late iPhone creator, West has been known to have a temper and takes his craft very seriously, which was also apparent from his tweets.

"So any website that may have the unapproved / unfinished ruff. I ask you to please take it down," he wrote on the social media site.

It's unlikely bloggers will actually take heed to West's requests and wait for the completed version of the video to be released next week before sharing it with the public. Not in a climate where fans want what they want, when they want it.

Black Skinhead is the first song from Yeezus to get a video. The album debuted at the top of the Billboard 200.
