Rihanna Drake Back Together After Chris Brown Split? Karrueche Tran Respects 'Stay' Singer
Rihanna has reportedly moved on from Chris Brown to rapper, Drake.
The Pour it Up singer is believed to have been seeing the No New Friends rapper between her relationship with Brown on several occasions in 2010 and 2011.
"When she was dating Chris, he [asked her not to talk] to Drake," a source told Look magazine. "She really missed him in that time - yes, they went out years before but he was also a good friend to her - so calling him was one of the first things she did when she realized she was over Chris."
Both Brown and Drake's love for Rihanna was allegedly the reason for their altercation at New York nightclub, W.i.P last June when they sent each other messages and bottles of alcohol back and forth. At the time, reports indicated that Drake sent a note through a waitress to Brown suggesting that he had slept with Rihanna. The back-and-forth soon led to a huge brawl that left a bodyguard, the restaurant, basketball player Tony Parker, and Brown all injured.
Since Brown's recent breakup with Rihanna, Drake has been waiting patiently for Rihanna to be available. Sources said the rapper gave Rihanna an ultimatum, demanding that she be committed to only him.
"His love life was paused when Chris and Rihanna reunited, and Drake claims it caused him stress headaches, writer's block and anxiety. He was obviously sick of it, but Rihanna wasn't ready for him,"
Meanwhile, Brown's current girlfriend, Karrueche Tran reportedly has no issues with Rihanna.
"She and Rihanna were in this triangle with Chris before, so if anybody knows what Rihanna is feeling, it's Karrueche. She's been in her shoes before," the source explained.
Last year, Tran was left heartbroken after Brown broke up with her to rekindle a relationship with Rihanna. Despite Brown's back-and-forth between her and Rihanna, Tran respects the singer.
"Karrueche isn't the kind of girl who would talk to Chris about his ex. She doesn't roll like that and she really doesn't even like to talk about Rihanna to her girls," a source said.
