Demi Lovato 'Made in the USA' VIDEO Teaser & Release Date
Demi Lovato released a teaser to her video for her song Made in the U.S.A. on Wednesday.
The short clip shows a couple holding hands in the sun set and also an up-close shot of Lovato smiling. The 20-year-old singer also revealed the full video release date via a Twitter post.
"The #MadeintheUSA video is coming!!!!!! Premieres 7/17 on @VEVO!!! Want a teaser?" she tweeted.
Her fans, who retweeted her post over 17,000 times, were clearly enthused by the news.
"Can't wait for music video <3 #MadeintheUSA," responded one user.
"OMG! Ahhhh! I just screamed so loud u could hear it in space! I can't wait!" tweeted another.
"You and aimee in the same video is this real life," wrote one more fan.
In June, Lovato also uploaded a video on YouTube with behind-the-scenes footage.
The cinematic video depicts a couple who meet at a carnival and "fall head over heels in love," Lovato said in the clip. The couple is played by Dustin Milligan from the CW's 90210 and Aimee Teegarden from Friday Night Lights. Milligan is a worker at the carnival where Lovato is also seen performing.
The video is also the first Lovato has helped direct.
"What happened was I came up with the treatment for the video, I saw the shots that I wanted to do and everything. I told my manager and I kind of walked him through it step by step and he said 'Well why don't you just direct it since you know what you want,'" she said in the behind-the-scenes video.
Made in the U.S.A. is a song off Lovato's fourth studio album Demi, which was released in May and peaked at No. 3 on Billboard.
Aside from her music, Lovato is also filming auditions for the U.S. X Factor. According to her Wednesday Twitter post, the star is currently in Los Angeles judging for the competition show, which will premiere in the fall.
