Wednesday night's seventh episode of America's Got Talent was the last of the audition rounds and featured a number of variety acts and a couple of standout singers.

Here are some significant acts from the episode, all of which were sent through to the Las Vegas round.

Milton Palton:

The country artist passionately sang the Brad Paisley-Allison Krauss song Whiskey Lullaby. Judge Howard Stern said that he had a "unique quality" about him and Howie Mandel said that he was a diamond in the rough.

Timber Brown:

A 28-year-old acrobat, he stunned the judges and the crowd with his strength and flexibility on a high pole. Judge Mel B had previously worked with him at a Las Vegas show so she couldn't vote due to bias. The other three judges heaped loads of praise on him, with Mandel saying he didn't see a single flaw.

Ballet Folklorico Mestizo:

This trio of child mariachi dancers performed with machetes and charmed the crowd and the judges. Mel B said she couldn't stop smiling while fellow judge Heidi Klum said she couldn't wait to see more from them.

Tavi & Antonio:

The judges were captivated by this duo's acrobatic ode to love, performed to Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars. Mel B said it was "graceful and smooth" while Stern said that he couldn't wait to see them in Vegas. The performance even managed to almost make Stern and Mandel jokingly kiss.

Skilyr Hicks:

This 14-year-old singer-songwriter sang a hopeful original song dedicated to her late father. Klum said that her performance "won all of our hearts." Mandel said that he couldn't help but picture his own kids singing and added that somewhere her father was glowing with pride from the performance.

Now that the audition phase of the season is over, the competition will get tougher as the acts start to narrow down to the best of the best. Next Tuesday's episode is part 1 of the Vegas round, which will start to whittle the acts down to the Final 48.

The first Vegas episode airs Tuesday, July 16 at 9 p.m. on NBC.
