Lil Scrappy has released a song titled Trayvon Martin in the midst of George Zimmerman's second degree murder trial in the death of the Florida teenager.

The Love & Hip Hop star sings about getting "legal justice" or "street justice" for the high school student.

The song expresses Scrappy's thoughts on the controversial Trayvon Martin case.

On the night of February 26, 2012, the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin took place. Since then, the case has sparked nation-wide discussion and press coverage. In the song, Scrappy raps:

"We was reaching for freedom now we seeking out justice, then they get away with it like they paid off the judges.

Currently, Travyon's killer George Zimmerman is on trial for murder. As the trial continues, we will find out whether Zimmerman will be found guilty or be acquitted.

Listen to the track.

The trial's closing arguments will be made today, Friday July 12.
