She may have stepped away from the spotlight for most of 2013, but Lady Gaga is back.

On Friday, the singer announced via Facebook that her new album ARTPOP will be released on Nov. 11. Fans will be able to pre-order her third full-length studio album starting Sept. 1 and the first single will also be released on Aug. 19.

But that's not all. The album will arrive with a special phone application. The app will be "a musical and visual engineering system that combines music, art, fashion and technology," she said in a statement published on her Facebook page.

At the end of the announcement, Gaga revealed that she will also host "an evening of artRave" on Nov. 10, in which she will show Haus of Gaga's projects. These will include collaborations with Inez & Vinoodh, Robert Wilson, Marina Abramovic and Jeff Koons.

Gaga's post also provided a little insight into what fans can expect from the upcoming album.

"The album ARTPOP musically mirrors Gaga's creative process as she passes through the mediums of each artist she collaborates with, scoring a blueprint of her journey," the post revealed.

Her little monsters rushed to Twitter to express their excitement over Gaga's news.

"Thats a nice birthday present for me," wrote one fan.

"Guys. It's finally happened. @ladygaga has announced ARTPOP dates and it's happening! We've waited so long, get ready!" tweeted another.

ARTPOP will be Gaga's follow-up to Born This Way, which was released in 2011. Her sophomore album went multi-platinum and was No. 1 on Billboard. The record features the hits Marry The Night, Born This Way, Judas and The Edge of Glory.

The 27-year-old recently performed at the New York City Gay Pride Parade's Kickoff Rally in June. She held a colorful pride flag and sang her own rendition to The Star-Spangled Banner. Her performance was very well-received from her audience. Watch her performance here.
