Ciara has been busy promoting her latest and self-titled album, which was released on July 9.

The new album is expected to sell anywhere between 55,000 to 65,000 in its first week, according to Idolator. These numbers are an increase from her previous album Basic Instinct, which only sold 37,000. The expected sales can land Ciara a Top 10 album. That's a big improvement from her last album, which only managed to peak at No. 44 on Billboard.

Still, her album may will be overshadowed by Jay-Z's Magna Carta Holy Grail, which hit retailers the same day. The rapper's album is expected to sell anywhere between 475,000 to 525,000.

While on her promotional trail Ciara visited BET's 106 & Park on Monday. The singer reminded people how many previous hits she's had as she performed a medley of her old tunes on the show. It wasn't long before the crowd was dancing and singing along with her.

Wearing baggy pants and a tank top with "New York" written across it, the singer started the performance with Lose Control, a Missy Elliott song she is featured on. The 27-year-old then danced to her first single ever Goodies and Ludacris joined her on stage for their 2005 hit Oh.

"Give it up for my boy Luda," she said before he walked off stage. "I love you Luda."

Like A Boy, Promise and 1, 2 Step followed. During her appearance on 106 & Park she also performed some of her new album's songs, including DUI and Body Party.

The singer discussed what makes her new album different than her previous work, saying, "I've changed a lot. I did like self-reflection, looked at myself, I was like 'you've got to live more, you've got to turn up more, you've got to let go more.'"

She also explained that the new record is her most open.

"I was just really vulnerable and I allowed myself to do that and I think you have to do that to grow," she said.

Ciara also worked with her boyfriend and producer Future on the album. The two collaborated on the love song Where You Go and he also appears in her video for the album's lead single Body Party.
