Following Glee actor Cory Monteith's death on July 13, tributes flooded on Twitter for him, but also for his girlfriend/co-star Lea Michele.

Demi Lovato tweeted Sunday, "#RIPCoryMonteith... So unbelievably tragic. Please #prayforLea." The hashtag "prayforLea" went viral throughout the social media website and countless Cory tribute accounts were created in memory of the actor.

Monteith, 31, was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room on Saturday afternoon. He played Finn Hudson on the hit TV series Glee. Michele requested her privacy be respected following news of her boyfriend's death. A spokesperson for the Glee star told People magazine, "We ask that everyone kindly respect Lea's privacy during this devastating time."

"We are so saddened to confirm that the reports on the death of Cory Monteith are accurate," his rep said in a statement. "We are in shock and mourning this tragic loss."

Since news of Monteith's death surfaced, Michele has maintained a silence on Twitter and Instagram. Still, some of her followers have posted messages on her social media accounts, expressing their condolences.

"Lea!! stay strong baby.. cory is in a better place now!! all fandoms are supporting u," #RipCoryMonteith wrote.

"We Are All Here For You Lea. So Sorry For Your loss. And Again We Are Here For You. x" another user wrote.

The Fox network and the producers of Glee, including 20th Century Fox Television, called Monteith an excellent performer "and an even more exceptional person," Fox News reported. They said he was "a true joy to work with and we will all miss him tremendously."

Monteith's autopsy is scheduled for Monday. The actor admitted himself into a treatment facility in April for substance addiction Michele, at the time, said she loved him, supported him and was proud he was seeking help. Monteith also received rehab treatment when he was 19.
