Actor Nick Wechsler opened up to Fashionisto magazine recently about his ABC Revenge character Jack Porter and what fans can expect to see when season 3 premieres in the fall.

The New Mexico native plays the show's bartender working and living in The Hamptons surrounded by people sitting on stacks of money that he does not always get along with. He is caught in a love triangle with the revenge-driven Emily Thorne and her fiance, Daniel Grayson. Season 2 ended with Jack's brother dying as a result of an explosion planted by Conrad Grayson, and his wife dying at the hands of one of the Ryan brothers who had ties to the Grayson family.

Leading into season 3, Wechsler talked about what is in store for Jack moving forward.

"I can't say much. In large part because I don't know much," he started off. "But I can say that as Jack's relationship with the Ryans gets more volatile, he must consider colluding with someone much more dangerous in order to extract them from his life."

Speaking about love triangles in his own life, Wechsler said he had "definitely" had moments when he had feelings for people who were unavailable emotionally or had feelings for more than one person at a time. He added that his take on how to handle those types of situations might come across as "a little controversial" to many.

"I feel like if you have serious enough feelings for someone who is taken, it can be worth making them aware of those feelings because you never know where they're at with their relationship," he said. "I'm not advocating actively pursuing them or trying to lure them away from their love...I'm saying I don't think it makes you an awful person to let them know you have a crush. The ball is in their court at that point."

"Life is just too goddamn short to not fight for what you want," he added.

In the final moments of Revenge's second season, Jack found out that Emily is really his childhood sweetheart Amanda Clarke. The actor described his character as being very loyal, protective and often too moral for his own good - all of which are traits Wechsler identifies himself with.

"That being said, however, we are very different," he added. "I'm more cynical [than Jack] and suspicious of people and their motives, and I am shy and I'm not as romantic and I don't know how to fix anything or mix a drink."

When in season, Revenge airs Sundays on ABC.
