'Under the Dome' Spoilers: Preview VIDEO of Episode 4 & More Details on Big Jim and Reverend Coggins
Fans of Under the Dome may learn that Big Jim (Dean Norris) and Reverend Lester Coggins (Ned Bellamy) are involved in a drug trade when the new episode premieres Monday night.
The fourth episode of Under the Dome, titled Outbreak, will feature the town of Chester's Mill dealing with an outbreak of meningitis. The spreading disease rapidly depletes the medicinal drugs in the town, though a photo released Thursday shows the town's villainous Reverend Coggins hording a big collection of drugs.
"That is the key to the next several episodes," executive producer Neal Baer told TV Guide Thursday. "It's an important thing because it tells us who Reverend Coggins is, where he stands and where he's going and that will have huge impact on Big Jim in particular."
Baer also teased Monday night's episode on July 9, saying that the ending of the episode would be "one of the craziest scenes we've ever done." He said that the scene would be at Big Jim's house and having something to do with the bomb shelter filling with water.
Norris posted a photo on his Twitter account on July 8 that could be the scene Baer was referring to. In the photo, Big Jim is standing on the stairs of the bomb shelter. Norris included the caption, "Something's going on in my cellar!" in the tweet, teasing that fans had to find out what he was referring to in Monday's episode.
CBS posted a sneak preview for the episode Sunday, in which Big Jim tries to calm down a protesting crowd of people. Ollie steps out of the crowd and confronts Jim, saying that the government is to blame for placing them under the dome. Linda says she thought she had things under control before fainting from the heat.
The fourth episode of Under the Dome will be premiering Monday night at 10 p.m. on CBS.
