Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell revealed some key points about where her character Emily is going in season 4.

Mitchell told TV Fanatic in a Monday report that things are looking up in regards to Emily and Paige's (Lindsey Shaw) relationship.

"They should at least have Emily have a girlfriend, someone she cares about," Mitchell said. "We have a lot of scenes coming up with Emily and Paige . . . So we will be seeing them down the road in this season."

Mitchell also explained that Emily's fractured relationship with Spencer (Troian Bellisaro) was going to get even worse in Tuesday night's episode. Emily will find out that Spencer is keeping a secret from her and Spencer has kept things from the group in the past, so each of the girls are a bit wary of her. Mitchell explained that Emily is often the quiet one of the group, but the upcoming episode will see her get fed up with Spencer.

As for the new Pretty Little Liars supernatural spinoff Ravenswood, executive producer Oliver Goldstick told TV Line, cited in a Tuesday report, that he wasn't ruling out the possibility of crossovers between the two shows.

"There is some room for crossovers, but we're not shooting it here [Los Angeles]; we're shooting it in New Orleans," Goldstick explained. "That will make it difficult production-wise, because that would mean a travel day for one of our core actors."

He added that the producers were in the process of figuring out how to do crossovers between the shows. Goldstick also teased that there might be some supernatural elements in Tuesday night's episode, though he said that those elements exist in Ravenswood and not in Rosewood where the Pretty Little Liars world takes place.

The next episode of Pretty Little Liars will air Tuesday night at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.
