Prince William's father, Prince Charles recently spoke about about the royal due date of his grandchild and hopes he or she will arrive sooner than later.

After Princess Camila revealed that Kate Middleton and William's child will be "here by the end of the week," Charles answered a few questions about the anticipation of the baby's arrival.

According to E! News, during Charles and Camilla's visit to the seaside town of Bude, a woman carrying a three-week-old baby started a friendly conversation with Charles, asking him about his grandchild.

"You have got one of these coming soon," she said, to which Charles replied, "hopefully."

Charles and Camilla are currently on their annual summer tour of the southwest English county, but will be on high alert, as Middleton is said to give birth soon.

"We are all just waiting by the telephone," she said at a stop at Little Harbour children's hospice, located near St. Austell, Cornwall. "We are hopeful that by the end of the week he or she will be here."

As far as what will happen when the moments leading up to Middleton's labor, a detailed plan has already been put into place.

The palace staff is "on call every day and night in July for this," a source said to Us Weekly. "There is nothing left to prepare or plan for."

As soon as Middleton feels the slightest bit of contractions, she will alert her private secretary, Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, who will then call Middleton's doctor Marcus Setchell.

"It's an encrypted signal," the source said, adding "so there's no way anyone can intercept it."

Pinkertoon will reportedly get into his BMW 6 Series car, with the green emergency light flashing, and from his Muswell Hill, North London home to St. Mary's Hospital in Paddington.
