Jay-Z's entry into the world of sports management drew more jeers when comedian Jay Pharoah performed an impersonation of him as an agent at the 2013 ESPYS on Wednesday.

Mad Men star and host of the ESPYS, John Hamm, introduced Pharaoh as Jay-Z to the crowd. The comedian, who is a member of NBC's Saturday Night Live cast, took the stage dressed in prominent hip-hop gear including a necklace that featured a medallion in the shape of the Roc-A-Fella logo -- the record company co-founded by the rapper. Pharaoh performed the Jay-Z parody he made popular on SNL, poking fun at the rapper's new career in athlete representation.

"It's Hova. Let me tell you, I wanna be your agent," Pharoah said in his impersonation of Jay-Z's voice. "Y'all know I made 17 albums, opened a chain of nightclubs, started a clothing line and married the most beautifule famouns women in the whole world. And you probably thought to yourself, I bet Jay-Z's got tons of free time to worry about my career."

For the most part, the routine drew plenty of laughs from the crowd. However, a few in attendance were noticeably stoic during Pharoah's parody, including Sean "Diddy" Combs, Snoop Dogg, and the Miami Heat's LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.

James was one of the ceremony's award winners, picking up the ESPY for Best Male Athlete, while tennis star Serena Williams took home the trophy for Best Female Athlete.

The highlight of the night came when Good Morning America host Robin Roberts was presented with the Arthur Ashe Courage Award for her public fight with cancer and her efforts to raise awareness of the need for bone marrow donors.
