Charlie Sheen's television series' comeback in "Anger Management" on FX is still months away but the series is gaining momentum.

Deals are in place to air the show in Scandinavia, Canada, Latin America and Germany, producers said Monday in a statement.

The new series marks Sheen's return to serialized television after leaving and being fired from CBS' hit series Two and a Half Men more than a year ago.

The show is loosely based on the 2003 film "Anger Management," starring Adam Sandler, Jack Nicholson and Marisa Tomei.

Sheen stars as ex-baseball pro Charlie who has to cope with some anger management issues of his own. Co-stars include his real life father Martin Sheen as his father, Shawnee Smith as his ex-wife and Selma Blair as his therapist.

Anger Management is written by Bruce Helford (George Lopez, The Drew Carey Show) and will premiere on FX on June 28.

The show began shooting in March.
