Dumb and Dumber 2: Stars Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels Return, Filming Starts
Filming in underway for "Dumb and Dumber 2" the sequel to the 1994 comedy "Dumb and Dumber" starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels as two good-hearted but incredibly stupid friends.
Peter Farrelly, the director, told Comingsoon.net that they got Carrey and Daniels back for the film and production begins in September.
"So we've always wanted to do a sequel and finally Jim called up. Jeff always wanted to do it. We always wanted to do it. Jim was busy, but he called and said, 'We've got to do this thing again.' He had just watched 'Dumb and Dumber' and he said, 'This is the perfect sequel. Let's do it,'" Farrelly told the site.
The 1994 comedy tells the story of roommates Lloyd Christmas (Carrey) and Harry Dune (Daniels) that get into trouble with criminals when they find a case full of money and try to return it to a woman.
