'Big Brother 15' Episode 10 Recap VIDEO: Week 3 Live Eviction, HOH Results & New Week 4 Twist Revealed
Big Brother 15 aired its ninth episode Wednesday night, featuring the live eviction and the crowning of a new Head of Household.
Week 3 Head of Household: Helen Kim
Week 3 Nominees: Aaryn Gries, Jeremy McGuire & Spencer Clawson
The remaining houseguests include: Amanda Zuckerman, Andy Herren, Candice Stewart, Elissa Slater, GinaMarie Zimmerman, Howard Overby, Jessie Kowalski, Judd Daugherty, Kaitlin Barnaby and McCrae Olson.
The episode began in the aftermath of the veto ceremony, in which Kaitlin took herself off the block and Helen nominated Jeremy in her place. Helen celebrated in the Diary Room for finally being able to get Jeremy out of the house.
Aaryn told Jeremy that they had to make a big move in the game in order to get him to stay. Jeremy approached Amanda, Judd and McCrae about the possibility of working together. He later talked to Helen and Elissa about working together, and they said that they would consider it.
Later, Aaryn, Amanda, Andy, Judd and McCrae discussed GinaMarie's obsession over Nick. Amanda decided to take away her shrine of Nick's left behind items as a prank. GinaMarie had a meltdown about not being able to find the items, so Amanda finally came clean and gave back her stuff.
After a clip package about the Amanda/McCrae "showmance," the live eviction began. Aaryn did not receive any votes, while Spencer received a vote from Kaitlin. Every other houseguest voted to evict Jeremy, making him the third person evicted from Big Brother 15.
In his interview with host Julie Chen outside the house, Jeremy said that he was a changed man after his experience on the show, saying that Kaitlin was mostly the reason.
Next, Chen explained that there would be a new twist in the MVP voting. Instead of voting for an MVP in the house, America itself would be the MVP for the week, directly voting for whom they think should be the third nominee for eviction.
The houseguests then competed in the Head of Household competition, which involved questions about their fellow housemates. Judd, Kaitlin and McCrae lasted until the end of the competition, at which point Judd won the tiebreaker and became the fourth Head of Household of Big Brother 15.
Chen later teased that the houseguests should expect the unexpected when it comes to the MVP twist this week.
The next episode of Big Brother 15 will air Sunday at 8 p.m. on CBS, featuring Judd's nominations for eviction.
