While Fergie and Josh Duhamel already announced that they are expecting a baby boy, they are keeping their lips locked when it comes to the name.

The celebrity couple has a reason behind their decision.

"Some people may not like it, some people may think it's really cool, but we don't really care, that's why we're not telling anybody," Duhamel told People in a Wednesday report.

When he says "anybody," he means it because even the couple's relatives haven't been told the baby's name.

"We're not even telling [Fergie's] mom because we don't want to hear anything about it. That way you don't feel like you're second-guessing yourself. It's between us. It's a sacred thing," he said.

However, the 40-year-old Safe Haven star did explain how the proud parents-to-be came up with the name.

"[The name is] kind of traditional, kind of not. My wife is a little rock and roll, so she's a little bit more daring in that department than I am," he told the magazine. "We decided on a name that we both really love, and I think will suit this child."

He revealed that his wife is having pregnancy cravings but has been trying her best to control them and is focused on eating healthy.

In another recent interview with Extra, Duhamel said that the couple, who is getting the nursery prepared, is very excited for the baby's arrival. In regards to his wife's growing belly, Duhamel said that she looks "so cute."

The Black Eyed Peas songstress broke the news via Twitter in February that she and her husband are expecting their first child.

"Josh & Me & BABY makes three!!! #mylovelybabybump," the singer tweeted, along with a photo of herself and her husband as children.

Fergie is due in late August or early September.
