Upon leaving a nightclub in West Hollywood late Thursday night, Christina Aguilera was snapped tripping over her (very) high heels.

At around 2 a.m., Aguilera walked out of Club Eleven holding onto a guy's arm. As she was about to get into her limo with a girl pal, she tripped over a concrete slit in her high platforms, letting out a shrieking sound. Aguilera was quickly saved by the male escort after her ankle rolled, making her lose her balance. The tiny incident was, of course, caught on camera and shot by many photographers.

The heels that caused the incident were identified as Christian Louboutin Palais Royal peep toe pumps, which cost just about $1000.

Thankfully, the 32-year-old singer didn't end up injured or on the ground. It also helped that she wasn't caught tripping in a mini dress. Instead, Aguilera opted for a more casual look wearing skinny jeans, a graphic t-shirt and black cardigan. Topping off her slimmed down figure, was a short platinum blonde hairdo and her normal bright red lipstick.

The Moves Like Jagger singer had a similar incident in 2011, in which she was captured taking a tumble at the Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills.

Despite topping iHeartRadio's worst renditions of the National Anthem list, Aguilera has a lot to celebrate. Her Spanish music video, Hoy Tengo Ganas De Ti ("Today I Have Wanted You") with artist Alejandro Fernandez, was released Friday. She was also nominated for a VMA earlier this week for Feel This Moment, featuring Pitbull.

Aguilera just began filming the fifth season of The Voice last week joining judges Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
