Miley Cyrus Liam Hemsworth Relationship Lacks Romance? Singer Talks in New Interview
Miley Cyrus hinted in a recent interview that her relationship with fiance Liam Hemsworth is not full of romance - at least not the kind portrayed in films.
The 20-year-old We Can't Stop singer reportedly told BBC Radio 1 that she is far from being swept off her feet by the Hunger Games: Catching Fire actor.
''Movies always make girls depressed like that. I can't watch Leonardo DiCaprio and not be depressed," she said. ''I'm engaged to an actor, so I know it doesn't exist. No, it's more like, 'Hey babe, one of the dogs pooped on the floor.'"
Cyrus also expressed her dislike for public display of affection, saying, "I get really uncomfortable when people start making out in movies, especially when it's old people!''
While she is busy promoting her upcoming album, which has yet to have an announced release date, Hemsworth was at the San Diego Comic-Con on July 20 talking about Hunger Games: Catching Fire and releasing a new trailer for the film alongside co-stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hucherson. The 23-year-old Australian native is currently in Edmonton, Canada filming his upcoming thriller Cut Bank with co-stars Teresa Palmer, John Malkovich and Billy Bob Thornton. He and Cyrus met up in Canada earlier in July to spent time together.
The couple, who met on the set of their 2010 film The Last Song, was also photographed together enjoying a movie date in Hollywood on June 17. An eyewitness at the time said Cyrus and Hemsworth were "talkative, smiling and affectionate" during their night out.
Cyrus and Hemsworth have been engaged for over a year. The couple's relationship status has been hit in the past by rumors of infidelity when an eyewitness claimed to see Hemsworth kiss and hold hands actress January Jones in February at a pre-Oscars party.
