'Star Wars Episode 7' Plot: Samuel L. Jackson Dishes On Mace Windu Chatter, VIDEO & Details
One of Hollywood's finest, Samuel Jackson, was one of many talents who graced the city of San Diego for its annual 2013 Comic-Con festivities this past weekend.
As expected, the veteran actor was queried on the highly anticipated Star Wars: Episode VII and whether or not he'll be attached to reprise his Mace Windu character. While Jackson didn't confirm anything, he did dish to Yahoo! about his experience at George Lucas' recent wedding, insinuating that he still remains unsure.
"J.J. [Abrams] was there. I was like [raises eyebrows] and he was like [noncommittal shrug], and he just went about his business. I don't know what that means," he said.
To add to the Star Wars star-ridden holy ceremony, the 64-year-old even spoke about Harrison Ford, who still remains unconfirmed to play Han Solo, who many diehards believe he eventually will.
"Harrison [Ford] was there too, and he was like [shrug]. I just think it would be cool to have some of us that people relate to as being part of the Star Wars franchise to give entire to the new characters that they're going to bring to whatever the new thing is. It kind of makes it an easier entrance," Jackson added.
What Culture reported that Star Wars: Episode VII will be set around the time period following the events of Return of the Jedi. The movie is scheduled to be released on July 15, 2015.
