Britney Spears Gives Advice to Justin Bieber? 'Ooh La La' Singer Warns Him of 'Slippery Slope'
Britney Spears and Justin Bieber allegedly had a one-on-one talk, but it had nothing to do with making music.
Justin Bieber's team reportedly reached out to Britney Spears and asked her to offer the Believe singer some advice. The Ooh La La singer agreed to help and discussed with Bieber what could happen if his life spiraled downhill.
"Justin's team asked her to talk some sense into him," a source told The Sun, cited in a July 20 report. "Britney warned him of the slippery slope that can easily lead to rehab- or even death- among young pop stars."
On July 10, the 19-year-old singer tweeted, "In life u will make mistakes and people will try and tear u down...but u gotta stay positive. Stay strong..and learn to be better..and..always live to serve others and The Lord. #growingeveryday."
Justin's bad boy behavior has been piling up lately. Just last week, he allegedly spat in a DJ's face inside of a nightclub in Ohio. Earlier in the month a video surfaced of him peeing in a restaurant mop bucket and he has been speeding in LA and caught fighting off the paparazzi.
While all of his incidents haven't been that extreme yet, they can eventually lead up to a meltdown Spears experienced. In 2008, the 31-year-old singer fell down her own "slippery slope" in which she shaved her head and repeatedly beat a paparazzo's car with an umbrella. Spears has since returned to the spotlight in a positive way. Her Ooh La La video, from the Smurfs 2 movie, has over 12 million views on YouTube.
In addition to talking to Bieber, Spears reportedly talked to Amanda Bynes prior to her arrest in May for throwing a bong out of her New York apartment window.
"Britney had a brief conversation with Amanda the week before her arrest and promised to personally help Amanda get her career back on track by helping her record music," a source told CelebrityFix. "Britney also opened up to Amanda about her painful breakdown...but she told Amanda that it wound up being a life, career and fortune saver."
