Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville will soon film a Bravo television pilot for her own spin-off series, a souce recently told PerezHilton.com.

The mother of two is rumored to have her own show that will focus on her dating life, as she finds a man to replace ex-husband/actor Eddie Cibrian. Bravo and Glanville, 40, have yet to hash out all the details of the possible spin-off and its formatting.

"Brandi will be taping a pilot for Bravo and it's for her own spin-off show," an insider told the website. "She was kind of shocked when the idea was brought up, but now she's really excited about it. Putting your dating life on TV for the world to see is never easy, but Brandi's never backed down from a challenge."

"You never know with Brandi. So you can have an angle for a show but how it plays out may be a very different thing," the source added. "She's ready to jump back into the dating scene and it will be interesting to see what kind of men can actually handle her!"

Glanville has yet to publicly comment on reports of her spin-off show. At time of publication, Bravo did not respond to EnStars' request for a comment.

Glanville has been a part of the Housewives of Beverly Hills cast since 2011 and released a memoir this year called Drinking And Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders. She is working on a second book and shot its cover image on July 18, she tweeted.

If the deal does go through, Glanville will not be the first Housewives star to receive her own spin-off. Cast member Lisa Vanderpump had Vanderpump Rules air earlier in the year. Others include Don't Be Tardy, Bethenny Ever After, The Kandy Factory, I Dream of NeNe and Tamra's OC Wedding.

Glanville spoke with Glamour for its March 2013 issue about her heartbreak following news of Cibrian's extra-marital affair with country singer LeAnn Rimes. She revealed how she felt days after finding out about the affair, but how she taught herself to move on.

"My heartache probably lasted a lot longer than it should have, because in the old days, you broke up with someone, you never saw 'em again. You're not seeing pictures of how in love they are," she said about seeing Cibrian and Rimes together in the tabloids. "I started to drink too much. I would cry all day... I got a DUI and realized I needed to wake up and let go. I said to myself, "You know what, Brandi? You have a life to live... It's time to do you."
