Cher, Kanye West Twitter Message: She Thanks 'Yeezus' Rapper for Paparazzi Attack [VIDEO]
Music icon Cher is a fan of Kanye West's recent paparazzi attack, as evidenced by a message she wrote Sunday on her Twitter account thanking the rapper.
The 67-year-old shared her support for West with her 1.6 millions fans on Twitter.
"DEAR KANYE,THANK U,4 TRASHING THOSE LOATHSOME PARASITES,WHO STEAL OUR MOST PRECIOUS GIFTS,"TIME & PRIVACY"WE CAN NEVER GET THOSE BACK!," the singer tweeted.
The former star of the 1970s hit TV show The Sonny and Cher Show also sent a second tweet. She revealed a personal experience the singer had with a celebrity photographer in which her young song passed out after she chased the paparazzo.
"It! Ran after him & yelled If i catch u I'll beat u 2 death with that Camera mfr. He dropped it & Ran ! My 4 yr old child fainted ! fk them," Cher tweeted.
West has been involved in several scuffles with photographers as of late. His latest fracas took place on July 19 at the LAX airport in Los Angeles, Calif. West grappled with a photographer who spoke to him as he left the airport and approached the taxi pickup area. As with many of his previous altercations, the rapper took objection to the paparazzo's attempts to talk to him.
"I told you don't talk to me right," West told the paparazzo. "What you're trying to do is get me in trouble, so I step off and have to pay you like $250,000."
The rapper then attempted to take the reporters equipment, wrestling him to the ground in the process. The paramedics had to be called to the scene and treated the photographer for undisclosed injuries.
The the photographer plans to press charges against West, TMZ reported on July 19. Cops are labeling the case a felony attempted robbery and not an assault because West seemed like he was trying to confiscate the paparazzo's camcorder, according to the website's law enforcement sources.
