Roseanne Barr, Tom Arnold Feud on Twitter: Exes Fight Over Old Wedding Videos
Comedian Roseanne Barr got into a Twitter feud with ex-husband Tom Arnold Monday regarding their wedding video.
The feud started when Arnold tweeted about cleaning out his garage and getting rid of some old wedding videos. This prompted Barr to ask him if he was referring to their wedding video, which she said she wanted because her kids were on them.
Barr added fuel to the fire by comparing it to when Arnold sold her grandmother's sewing machine instead of giving it back to her. Arnold replied that their old videos were still there and added, "For christ sakes. I remember when you used to be a comedian."
Barr then asked Arnold "what the f--- is wrong with U?" to which Arnold asked the same question to her, adding that she's "so damn serious all the time."
Arnold suggested that they "put this petty bickering to rest" but sent another tweet right after that asking her what she did with her copy of their wedding videos. Barr said that Arnold took it from her and the pair began arguing again.
The feud seemed to be resolved when Arnold assured her that he was going to look to make sure none of the videos he threw out were of her and her kids. They soon transitioned into talking about Arnold's newborn son Jax, whom he had with his fourth wife, Ashley Groussman. They started talking about astrological signs for the newborn and Groussman before the conversation dissipated.
Barr met Arnold behind-the-scenes of her successful '90s sitcom Roseanne. Arnold was a writer on the sitcom and married Barr in 1990. During that time, the couple created a new sitcom called The Jackie Thomas Show starring Arnold. The sitcom aired after Roseanne but was canceled after 18 episodes. The couple split up in 1994.
