Amanda Bynes, the former actress of "What I Like About You," was released after been arrested Friday morning in the Los Angeles-area community of West Hollywood for allegedly driving under the influence.

Bynes was released Friday afternoon, on a $5,000 bail, according to celebrities news site TMZ.

Bynes hit the rear of a deputy's vehicle causing a minor paint damage, according to authorities.

"There was minor paint transfer damage to both vehicles. An investigation was conducted at the scene, and ... Bynes was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol," Lt. William Nash of the West Hollywood police station told Reuters.
