Rihanna posted a message on her Instagram account Tuesday, prompting many to believe it was a jab towards her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown.

The post showed a quote that read, "I hate when ex's say.."I'm here if you need me. Where the f-ck were you when we were together and I needed you."

A picture or name wasn't attached to the post, but many fans automatically assumed she was referring to Brown.

The Bajan beauty recently let her true feelings get the best of her when she broke down in tears during a recent Diamonds World Tour stop in France. She thanked fans for their support before singing her final song of the show.

On the same day Rihanna uploaded her Instagram post, an image went viral of the possible artwork for Chris' latest single, "Somebody Else Remix," which is an old picture of him and Rihanna. But, her face is X'ed out, with red.

On the "Somebody Else Remix" track, Chris, 24, sings, "I never saw the day coming / That you would ever wanna leave me / Baby, you told me no matter what / Your heart would always be for me."

Despite being in an off-on relationship with socialite Karrueche Tran after breaking up with Rihanna, Brown said that he isn't dating anyone at the moment and only focused on his music and charity work.

"[Fans have] seen me on and off again with different girls, you know who they are, but right now, as a 24-year-old man, I just choose to be single!" Brown said at the Symphonic Love Foundation, with Walk Everywhere in Unity's Shoes event in Compton, Calif.

Brown added that he suprinsingly still keeps in contact with both Rihanna and Tran, but has taken time to himself to focus on his charity work and upcoming album, X.

"I'm still good friends with them," Brown admitted. "[Now] it's just me being focused with my music and doing this stuff. Right now, I'm in my prime."
