Former X-Files actress Veronica Cartwright (Alien, Invasion) will appear in Grey's Anatomy's two-hour season premiere on Sept. 26. according to a spoiler published by TV Line on Tuesday.

The British star's role in the premiere episode is unclear, but she joins a guest star roster that includes Bobby Campo from Being Human and Heather Hemmens from Hellcats. The cast began filming the season 10's first episode on July 17, with Cartwright beginning to tape her guest appearance on Tuesday. Castwright also starred in the TV series' Invasion and Eastwick, and two episode's of ABC's Revenge.

Kevin McKidd, who plays Owen Wilson, posted Tuesday onto Twitter photos of him on set and in his white doctor's coat with co-star Patrick Dempsey (Derek Shepard) and another image of him with Justin Chambers (Alex Karev).

Actress Ellen Pompeo, who plays Meredith Grey, earlier in July tweeted about the premiere episode, "Your gonna laugh. You're gonna cry. We're gonna take you places. I promise. #youknowhowwedo."

Fans will also see more of Ben next season. Miranda Bailey's husband is still doing his internship in Los Angeles, but flies back to Seattle when needed. Actor Jason George confirmed earlier in July that he will star in the new season of ABC's medical drama, even though he recently landed a role on Lifetime's Witches of East End. George also teased about more on-call room time for Ben and Miranda. When asked by a Twitter follower on Monday if viewers will see "more booty call scenes in season 10," he replied, "Would not be surprised."

A recent spoiler regarding season 10 stated that the premiere episode will involve a group of firefighters serving several guest-starring roles. In addition, episode 4 of season 10 marks the 200th episode overall for Grey's Anatomy.
