Kris Jenner and her stepson Brody Jenner had what the E! network described as an emotional "confrontation that was 20 years in the making" during Sunday's episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

When Brody joined the Kardashian and the rest of the Jenner clan aboard a yacht the family rented for the day, Kris tries hard to ease the tension between. She created an awkward moment when she began to rub sunscreen lotion on Brody's back and compared his physique to his father's younger days, in an attempt to defuse the tension between them.

Brody revealed how awkard the moment was for him in his confessional.

"I just don't think she knows how to act around me. I think she is being nice, but it was just an awkward way to be nice. It was a little weird," he said of the back rub. "I think she doesn't think I like her."

"Over the years, I thought Kris was the reason I didn't see my father and I painted her as the villain," he added.

The tension between them comes to a head when Brody asks her what makes her "genuinely happy." When she tells him that having him with them on the family trip makes her happy, he tells her it's a lie. After Kris defends her answer, Brody told her he didn't think that Kris gave "two sh-ts about him and Brandon" when they grew up.

Brody admitted on-camera in previous episodes that he had an estranged relationship with Bruce after he divorced his biological mother Linda Thompson and married Kris. When Kris told Brody that she felt he never took the time to get to know her, he said she never took the time to get to know him.

The confrontation made Kris cry.

The third episode of the three-part Greece special wil premire on Keeping Up With The Kardashians on Sunday, Aug. 3.
