Starting in August, the Obamas will be taking their summer family vacation starting in August and it will reportedly be expensive

The Obamas rented The Chilmark House, owned by financier Rick Schulte, right near Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts. The mansion that comes with 9.5 acres of land and costs roughly $7.6 million. A property expert told MailOnline that it will "likely run in the $40,000 to $60,000 range for the eight-day stay."

The Obamas will be joined by the presidential entourage, Secret Service agents and Transportation Security Agency officers for the Aug.10-18 vacation, according to the report. They will be staying at nearby hotels that range from $225 to $345 per night. The website reported that 75 rooms have already been booked for the presidential staff.

After adding the Air Force One into the mix, which costs $180,000 per hour to operate, the full vacation cost will be more than $2 million. The price is less than what the Obamas spent for their 2011 summer vacation. Two years ago, President Obama, Michelle Obama and daughters Sasha and Malia, stayed at a $21 million mansion on Martha's Vineyard that cost an estimated $50,000 per week.

As far as what the family plans on doing during the vacation, President Obama may spend time playing golf, one of his favorite past-times, since there are plenty of golf courses nearby.

Michelle will take part in her First Lady's Let's Move! Campaign, which encourages families to be more active.

"One of my favorite activities in the summer is biking," she previously told Good Morning America. "Barack and I love to bike with the girls when we can, and it's a great way to explore a new place."

They will also be eating healthy meals prepared by their personal chef and cooking staff in the state-of-the-art kitchen.

"I would also say that vacations are a great time to try something that you haven't before and expand your kids' food horizons. Maybe a local dish with ingredients from the town you're staying in," she added. "As for me, I'll have some homemade ice cream for dessert."

Michelle Obama, Sasha and Malia last vacationed in the Bahamas for Spring Break during the end of March.
