Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are seeking couples therapy to work on their relationship, Perez Hilton revealed recently.
The couple got engage over a year ago and since then have faced numerous reports of a split and Hemsworth cheating. The therapy sessions are an effort by both sides to make the relationship work, according to Hilton. Cyrus' parents, Bill Ray and Tish, did couples therapy themselves the first time they talked about divorcing, and the sessions resulted in them giving their marriage another shot.
The famous gossip blogger also commented on the Miley and Hemsworth's rocky relationship by saying that perhaps the Hunger Games actor is "threatened" by his fiancee success. He cited "friends of Miley" who said the We Can't Stop singer is always going "above and beyond" to visit him when he is working and "never vice versa."

The couple has been fighting for a while because of lack of communication, Hollywood Life allegedly reported. She recently visited him in Canada where he is filming a movie. Still, an insider told the website the biggest strain on their relationship is the amount of time they spend apart, and that it bothers Miley more than Hemsworth.
"Miley clearly feels her relationship with Liam is worth saving, but it seems like he's not willing to put in the time and energy it takes to make a relationship work," the source said. "The time apart is taking a huge toll but what can they do? Their careers are both exploding right now and neither one of them want to give that up. Liam won't and Miley sure as hell won't either."
The couple met on the set of their 2010 film The Last Song, in which they co-starred as lovers.
