"Your love is alive still to this day, in the form of a truly one of a kind teenager with her Mom's smile, beauty and courage," he added.
The photographer concluded the post by expressing his gratitude to Smith's fans, saying he's thankful that they are keeping her memory alive.
What Happened to Anna Nicole Smith?
Anna Nicole Smith was a controversial celebrity in the past. She used to work as a Playboy model and later worked her way up to star in her reality series titled "The Anna Nicole Show."
While on vacation with her ex-boyfriend Howard K. Stern in 2007, Smith was found unresponsive at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
She was taken to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead at the young age of 39, a few months after her and Birkhead's daughter, Dannielynn, was born.
After the investigation, authorities confirmed that the model died of an accidental overdose on prescription medication.
Before her daughter, she had a 20-year-old son named Daniel, who died of an accidental overdose three days after his sister was born.
In a previous statement, Larry Birkhead noted that despite Smith's death certificate listing a different cause, he believes that she "truly died of a broken heart" as there was an "extreme high" when her daughter was welcomed to the world, then the "low" when her son died.
