Matt Murdock aka Daredevil is definitely returning to the MCU, beyond his role in Spider-Man: No Way Home. At least that is what The Devil of Hell's Kitchen, himself, actor Charlie Cox said in a recent interview with HeyUGuys, and from the sound of it, he might be in this for the long haul.

"I think at this point, I expect to be involved in some capacity. Otherwise, it would be a bit of a weird one-scene moment. I don't know much, I know a little, and what I do know I'm very excited about... there's a chance it could be the next ten years of my life."

Sounds like Daredevil might feature prominently in Phase Four of MCU's next series of movies or shows. But the big question remains, will he continue his one-man war against Wilson Fisk? If you have kept up with the goings on in the recent MCU, (SPOILER) The Kingpin was a featured villain in the Disney+ series Hawkeye where Vincent D'Onofrio reprised the role only to face off against Kate Bishop ending with the bald bruiser being defeated by Bishop when she supposedly hit him with an arrow... off screen.

The rule with any character death these days, if it didn't happen on-screen they will more than likely return.

But even D'Onofrio can be certain of the fate of The Kingpin. He was quoted in an interview with Collider as saying,

"I can comment personally. I can't comment about any fact because [Marvel Studios] just don't tell me. So, it made me hope that it would continue and it still makes me feel that way. I mean, in my mind, she definitely shot him. And, I walked away from Daredevil, at first I thought, 'Maybe he'll come back somehow.' And then very quickly after that, I thought I was walking away for good."

Given the success of the gritty Netflix Daredevil series along with the leads showing up in two of the MCU's biggest events of the past couple months, signs are good that these two might face off again. Unfortunately, the violence will more than likely be less visceral than the bloody action we had in the past now that Disney is running the show for Marvel.
