Dolly Parton Promises Free College Tuition for All Staff, Co-Stars Call Her a 'National Treasure'
Fans are once again urging Dolly Parton to lead our nation as the country queen guarantees a free ticket to college for all Dollywood workers.
Dollywood Parks & Resorts in Tennessee announced their plans to fund 100 percent of tuition and the cost of books for any staff who will decide to pursue further education, as reported by the WHJL-11.
The perk goes to Dollywood's 11,000 full-, part-time and seasonal workers of all ages at any of their 25 sites around the US, including the Harlem Globetrotters and New Jersey's Adventure Aquarium, starting on the day they're recruited.
"When our hosts strive to grow themselves, it makes our business and our community a truly better place," said Dollywood Company president Eugene Naughton
Herschend Enterprises, which jointly owns Dollywood alongside the country queen herself, said they strive to inspire staff to follow their goals.
"We care about our hosts' development and we want their future to grow because of love, not loans," said Andrew Wexler, CEO of Herschend Enterprises, in a statement.

A chorus of supporters, including actors, politicians and journalists, are now screaming "Parton for President" as the "9 to 5" singer demonstrates, once again, that she's a "national treasure."
"She's an angel," stated Rosie O'Donnell in response to the news.
Said Congressional candidate Charles Booker of Kentucky, "Dolly, you certainly are appreciated."
"Dollyocracy now," said Bitch Media journalist Andi Zeisler.
"Jill and Joe pretty silent since this dropped," tweeted one admirer, referring to failed promises by the Biden administration to make community college free for all Americans. On Monday, first lady and longtime educator Jill Biden delivered the news that their major campaign pledge is "no longer" part of the Democrats' funding package.
Added influencer and activist Matt Bernstein, "dolly parton has done more for students than joe biden."
Dolly Parton is the most renowned and beloved female country singer-songwriter of all time. Achieving 25 RIAA-certified gold, platinum, and multi-platinum honors, she has had 26 singles hit #1 on the Billboard country charts, a record for a female singer.
Recently, Parton achieved #1 on the Billboard Christian Airplay Chart for the first time with her duet with Grammy award-winning Zach Williams of "There Was Jesus," for which they received a Grammy this year, making that her 11th Grammy win.
