The release of the upcoming Paramount Pictures comedy The Lost City is creeping ever closer - the film is due to hit theaters next month, and after watching the Superbowl, we think a lot more people are going to be talking about this movie.

The Lost City is a jungle rescue story, starring Sandra Bullock as the successful but reclusive romance adventure novelist Loretta Sage. Sage has spent her life writing about exotic places in her books, but when an eccentric billionaire - played by Daniel Radcliffe - kidnaps her and demands that she lead him to some lost treasure, her longtime cover model Alan (Channing Tatum) sees this as his time to shine: He'll rescue her and prove that he can be a hero in real life, and not just a pretty cover boy.

We aren't sure how the Brad Pitt rescuer factors in, but his father was a weatherman, in case you were wondering how he got to be so handsome.

The cameo he makes is actually something of a tribute, as Channing Tatum explained in an interview with Variety: He was basing his character Alan on Pitt's character from Legends of the Fall - or at least, his character's hair. And Tatum apparently LOVED the hair.

"The minute he came out of his dressing room, the wig took over his entire personality," Bullock recalled, laughing. "We lost Channing for a moment. Someone has to have great physicality and comedic timing to take ownership of that in a genuine way rather than make fun of it. He embraced what it was, and it was pretty spectacular."

We can't wait to see exactly how magical and magnificent this hair is on Tatum, in his first on-screen appearance in three years, no less. The Lost City premieres in theaters on March 25 - and you can catch the new trailer during the Superbowl on Sunday.
