Rihanna Almost Concealed Pregnancy From Friends But Ultimately Failed Due to An Amusing Reason
Rihanna came close to concealing her pregnancy from her friends but ultimately failed due to an amusing reason.
On Jan. 31, the singer-actress announced her pregnancy with boyfriend A$AP Rocky through Instagram.
The Barbados-born beauty then admitted to E! News that she attempted to conceal her pregnancy for as long as possible, but they became suspicious when she had extreme food cravings.
While chatting with the publication for an event for her Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin businesses, the "We Found Love" singer recalled how difficult it was to fool her friends.
"It was more difficult for me to keep it from my posse," the 33-year-old recounted, "since they're around me and are familiar with my habits."
Since becoming famous, Rihanna has never been hesitant about consuming pot, but now that she's pregnant, she has taken a step back from booze and smoking. That was also why she ceased - she desired pregnancy.
Her companions apparently became concerned at that point, adding, "They're all like, 'You don't want a drink? You are not a smoker?'"
According to the singer of "Diamonds," she has never had a sweet appetite, and her sudden impulse to devour some made her friends even more suspicious.
The soon-to-be mother recalled her first amazement upon discovering she was pregnant with her first child, adding, "it was, and it's almost as if you don't want to get too excited too fast because it's wonderful news, but you."
".. I want to see that it makes it through. And I'm overjoyed that we've made it this far and that I can now celebrate with everyone."
New Music From Rihanna This 2022?
Despite her pregnancy, Rihanna has assured her fans that they can expect new music from her very soon.
RiRi vowed that becoming a mother will not prevent her from completing her long-awaited album, over six years after the release of "Anti" in 2016.
However, when she was asked jokingly if she would ever include lullabies on her future album.
"Oh no, this is not a lullaby. My fans would kill me if they knew how long they had to wait for a lullaby!"
Additionally, fans have pleaded with her to make fresh material available. RiRi maintained, though, that she is "constantly" working on her music and would not share it until she is entirely satisfied.
The billionaire mogul said, "I'm not just going to put music out because people are craving it. I'm going to make it worth the wait - and it will be worth the wait."
