The Story Goes On! 'How I Met Your Father' Starring Kim Cattrall and Hilary Duff Has Been Renewed for a Second Season!
How I Met Your Father has been officially renewed for a second season.
This new Hulu series is a spin-off of the hit series How I Met Your Mother. Sex and the City alumn Kim Cattrall voices Sophie as she re-tells the story to her children of, as you may have guessed it, how she met their father. The young version of Sophie is played by the incredible Lizzie McGuire star Hilary Duff. She found herself attatached to the show after the reboot of Lizzie McGuire fell through.
Thank goodness it did becasue, according to an article on Variety, How I Met Your Father is already confirmed for its second season, following a smash-hit first season. Season two wil be two times as long as season one being made up of twenty episodes.
The success of the show can be credited to the brillience of the creators. It was written by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger. The head of scripted originals at Hulu, Jordan Helman, said:
"Isaac and Elizabeth's inspired vision for 'How I Met Your Father' has proven to be true appointment viewing that fans cannot get enough of week to week...The lives of these characters, as portrayed by the immensely talented cast led by Hilary Duff, are just starting to unfold and we're thrilled to bring more of this group's journey to our viewers with a supersized second season."
