Robert Pattinson may be one of the most talented actors in Hollywood for his appearances in several films over the past years, but he's still experiencing a shocking thing whenever he auditions or does a screen test. The actor recently opened up about an incident while he was in front of co-star Zoë Kravitz.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly while promoting their upcoming film "The Batman," producers wanted Kravitz to have chemistry with Pattinson during her audition.

The actress said the "chemistry was really intense" as her co-star wore the Batsuit.

Looking back, the "Big Little Lies" actress said the "intense" audition had a proper camera test with the DP and a soundstage.

"It wasn't just reading lines in a room. So it was intimidating, to say the least," she added.

During her screen test, the actress was instructed to take off her motorcycle helmet, which led her to have "a little bit of anxiety" as it was hard to take off.

Kravitz did her best to take off the helmet and "look cool," as well as not try her to get stuck on her head to look funny.

Prior to her audition, Pattinson had already been cast in the movie, but he never got the chance to say any lines, meaning it was his first time reciting his script in front of his co-star.

Initially, the production wanted the "Twilight" actor to be taller, so he wore "high-heeled sneakers" and "tottering around" wearing his Batman costume. (via Daily Mail UK)

While doing the screen test, which did not feature his face as the camera was pointing at the back of his head, Pattinson said he had a "major panic attack" as he looked for emotional support from Kravitz.

Director Matt Reeves chimed in the interview, saying they could see "there was something really special" between the two actors.

It seems like the two stars had a bond right from the beginning as the director explained they have a "strong connection," and they are trying to ignore it.

In addition, Kravitz and Pattinson are surprised by what they felt as it's rare for them.

Robert Pattinson plays the role of Batman, while Zoë Kravitz portrays Catwoman. "The Batman" will hit theatres starting March 4.
