Shailene Woodley, Aaron Rodgers Breakup Real Reason: Actress Felt Invisible, Sidelined?
Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers shocked their fans when they ended their engagement.
For quite some time, even though they appeared quite the unconventional couple, since they both agreed that their relationship has become so much healthier with them having their own careers and own life away from each other, people thought they were genuinely happy. A new report now emerged to say the real reason why they broke up is what Shailene Woodley genuinely felt throughout her romance with Aaron Rodgers.
Woodley reportedly felt being taken for granted and sidelined with all that Rodgers wants to do with his career. Turns out prioritizing work can truly break a relationship, if this is indeed the case.

Since Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers announced their engagement was called off after less than two years, a source close to the pair has EXCLUSIVELY revealed what precipitated the breakup. Not only was Aaron too focused on his career, he was completely allegedly ignoring Woodley's own successes in her career and not giving her the support she needed.
"This year with all the drama that Aaron put on the Green Bay Packers with trade demands and just being difficult with management really put Aaron's focus on making it right. He wanted to get to and win the Super Bowl, he wanted to be the league's MVP and that made his main focus his career," A source revealed.
On Feb. 16, In Touch reported the couple's split. According to the news site, Shailene and Aaron, who began dating privately in 2020, have called off their engagement. A source for that magazine said almost the same thing.
"While Shailene is supportive of Aaron's career, he put football first and they were barely spending any time together," one insider told In Touch. "She felt he neglected their relationship. Neither of them was happy." The source however pointed out that Aaron, being an independent guy, literally "got cold feel" about the upcoming marriage to Woodley.
Their breakup was amicable though, if the source said is correct.
They just "couldn't make it work," a second source added. "There were too many obstacles. They're both adults and decided to part amicably," the source added.
In 2020, during the first COVID-19 lockdown, the Big Little Lies actress began dating the NFL player. The couple had a close relationship until Aaron announced their engagement during the NFL Honors telecast in February 2021. Shailene later confirmed the engagement on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She even said that they were already engaged for quite some time already that it was funny being congratulated.
"Yes, we are engaged. But for us, it's not new news, you know, so it's kind of funny," she told the host. "Everyone right now is freaking out over it and we're like, 'Yeah, we've been engaged for a while.' "
